This year, the festival "Lebek Khurfkan" at the Sports Culture Club of Khurfakan attracted a large number of participants. The organizers of the event were the Union of Lightweight Athletics Federation of the OAAE, along with the Municipal Council of the city of Khurfakan and the Sports Culture Club of Khurfakan, with the support of the Sports Council of Emirate Sharjah, as well as several state and private organizations. This confirms the growing significance of the festival, which combines sports, community interaction, and contributes to the development of sports tourism in the country.
In this edition, the third year of the festival "Lebek Khurfkan" starts with a record number of participants - over 2000 athletes of all age categories. Including participants on adaptive categories in a distance of 8 km. This sporting event strengthens Khurfakan's position as an important sports and tourism destination.
